Alexis Powell

Alexis Powell has been dancing since the age of four, with dance serving as both a lifelong passion and a central part of her life. Over the years, she has trained in various styles, but contemporary dance has always held a special place in her heart. Now in her second year with the Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theater, she continues to be thrilled to be part of this incredible group, feeling honored to perform alongside such talented and dedicated dancers.

Throughout her dance journey, Alexis has had the privilege of learning from remarkable teachers and choreographers who have helped shape her into the dancer she is today. Their guidance has instilled in her a strong work ethic, a deep love for the art form, and an appreciation for the power of movement as a means of expression.

Returning to the Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theater marks another significant milestone in her career, and she is eager to continue bringing her energy and creativity to the stage.
